The 7000 R is an advanced remote-controlled fluoroscopy system combined with a state-of-the-art digital radiography system.
Designed to optimize space utilization, the system operates in a fully digital mode, utilizing UNIQUE image processing technology to provide superior image quality.
With excellent radiation dose control, the 7000 R is a versatile system, suitable for a wide range of examinations—from pediatric imaging to bariatric procedures.
2-in-1 System – High-Performance Radiography and Fluoroscopy
The Philips 7000 R Radiography and Fluoroscopy System is a premium multifunctional solution suitable for a broad range of applications, including chest imaging, spinal exams, upper and lower extremities, skull studies, gastrointestinal exams, arthrography, venography, lymphography, myelography, and Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA).
Flexible Geometry – Versatile Clinical Use
The remotely controlled, tilting table (-90° to +90°) is ideal for all standard fluoroscopy studies and traditional radiography, including image stitching. The tiltable tube column enables angular projections in any table position.
The tabletop supports patients up to 284 kg (626 lbs) without restricting movement. An intuitive touchscreen manages geometric motions and fluoroscopy parameters.
Eleva Tube Head – Patient-Centered Operation
The system features a modern touchscreen interface directly in the exam room. It allows rapid adjustment of key radiographic parameters at the tube head and provides optional live imaging support for enhanced patient positioning.
Grid-Controlled Fluoroscopy – Automatic Dose Adjustment
Philips’ proprietary pulsed fluoroscopy technology delivers outstanding image quality at reduced dose levels.
Dose management is achieved through a grid-switching mechanism inside the X-ray tube, with real-time control of kV, mA, and exposure time for each pulse (pulse-by-pulse control).
UNIQUE Dynamic Image Processing
The UNIQUE image processing software ensures consistent clinical image quality across all anatomical regions by automatically balancing overexposed and underexposed areas within a single image.
Full-Length Leg and Spine Imaging
The optional automated image stitching software enables long-length imaging. Acquisition can be performed in any table position, from horizontal to vertical, including at the vertical stand.
The algorithm operates fully automatically, while a set of smart accessories improves patient comfort and delivers superior image quality.
Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) – High-Quality Vascular Imaging
With Philips’ DSA technology, blood vessels are visualized with exceptional clarity.
Predefined examination presets ensure an efficient workflow for angiographic procedures.
SkyPlates – High-Performance Detectors
The 7000 R is equipped with large and small wireless SkyPlate digital detectors, which are lightweight for comfortable positioning.
They integrate seamlessly with SkyFlow Plus smart software for gridless bedside imaging, and can be shared across compatible systems.
SkyFlow Plus – Grid-Like Contrast for Gridless Exams
SkyFlow Plus is the industry’s first scatter correction algorithm for portable radiography.
When performing gridless DR exams, SkyFlow Plus generates images with grid-like contrast, reducing the impact of scatter radiation and eliminating the need for physical grids.
Eleva User Interface – Fast, Intuitive Workflow
The Eleva interface provides all necessary tools and controls for smooth procedures.
This unified platform is harmonized across Philips’ radiography and fluoroscopy systems.
It’s easy to learn and operate, significantly reducing training efforts.
Philips Bone Suppression – Enhanced Nodule Detection
The Philips Bone Suppression software helps remove bony structures from upright adult chest radiographs, improving unobstructed soft tissue visualization.
This clearer view supports more accurate image interpretation.
As part of the Eleva platform, Bone Suppression is fully integrated into the standard workflow.
